This past Monday Japanese business and IT news services published articles about global Internet browser market share rankings based on a press release by OneStat.com. In the month of June, Firefox increased its global market share by 1.14% for a total of 12.93% while Microsoft's (MSFT) Internet Explorer lost 2.12% and fell to 83.05%. Among the various country rankings, Germany had the highest percentage of Firefox users with 39.02% versus 55.99% that use IE.

For some reason OneStat.com has been down this morning. As an alternative, click here for a link to a Japanese language article summarizing the press release -- the names of the respective browsers and market share percentages should be readable for English speakers.
