I have to confess that I have never taken any class in economic. Being in IT, I have not written much. I learn fast though esp. when I lose money.

My confession as a trader:

Not a happy person. When I make big money, I'm sad to share with uncle Sam. When I lose money, I'm even sadder. Learning to be emotionally detached from ups and downs.

Having few friends. I cannot tell my secrets in detail unless I have to kill you. How many mutual fund managers expose their ... More techniques and what they're really buying? I rest my case. I work alone.

No contribution to the society. I used to write computer programs that my company can use them to stream line their operations. The only exception is taxes I contribute in good years. When I look at the poor in US having all those undeserved entitlements, I know my taxes have been misused.

Not to tell how successful I'm in my work. No one would give me an Oscar by beating 99% of the fund managers in a year. I almost wonder how much luck dictates our success/failure. A good trader should beat S&P in 5 years I guess. It is my superstition that the market would slap my cheeks when I tell how well I did, so it is better to keep IT to myself.

Money, the reward of my hard work, cannot buy health and happiness, but attracts jealousy and robbers/tax collectors.

What happened to FONR? In two months, it is over 200% gain. I have a small position. Apr 23, 2012
